Heavy Duty Tree Climbing Rope – Double Braid – 1/2″ – 125 ft – 8400 lb Break Strength

I used this rope for a multi-day tree pruning job and the 125 ft length meant I didn’t have to splice lines. The double braid felt very secure under load and the low-stretch made positioning branches predictable. Very impressed with the break strength—gave me confidence on every climb.

As an arborist I needed something tough for rigging and this rope handled wet bark and rough edges without fraying. The suregrip texture made ascending with chest harness much smoother—less slipping and faster work cycles.

The double braid holds its shape and resists snagging on rough bark. Made multi-point anchors simple to assemble.

Used for long lowering operations and it didn’t creep under constant tension. The suregrip braid made handling intuitive.

Took this on a weekend mountain climb; the torque-free design meant no annoying twists while hauling gear. Lightweight for its diameter and the 8400 lb rating is comforting when you’re belaying a heavy pack.

I climbed through drizzle and the rope kept grip and behaved predictably. Very useful for wet-weather work.
